The Application Research Of The DW In The Middle And Primary Schools Educational Resources Building

With the development of China's information technology in education, as an information activity, the building of the teaching resources database plays an important role in improving the quality of education and realizing the value of education information in China. With the popularity of Internet technology, some local schools, some research institutes and some business companies all have been built the teaching resources database on line actively. Now, there are many teaching resources databases with different varieties and structures. The number of the educational resources in the database is growing great, the content and the form of the educational resources presentation are diversity. The large numbers of teaching resources have provided a powerful service function for teaching and studying, but also have brought new challenges for the building and management of the educational resources database.Under such circumstances, this paper analyzes and researches the development of data warehouse technology and the basic theoretical knowledge. Based the platform of Dongshi Ideal primary and middle schools teaching resources database, this paper has built the teaching resources usage effective data mart with the teaching resources database click-stream data (web log files and cookie tracking documents etc) to provide basic data for the purpose of making decision by the administrators and managers use OLAP and Data Mining tools. Meanwhile, in the process of building the teaching resources usage effective data mart, this paper has studied the Agent technology and ETL technology. Then put forward a kind of data extract strategy with the Agent technology, which can make the process of ETL more agility and higher effective, improve the quality of data integration.
