In recent years, reality shows have come on stage domestically, especially the great success of Super Girl, the Hu Nan satellite TV in 2005, its success promotes the Chinese reality shows development, and reality shows have taken up the half of entertainment absolutely. But as the foreign goods, the reality shows have the opposite between Chinese traditional culture and thoughts and morality, and it produces a wide -ranging social dispute with getting good economic benefits. So the discussion of domestic reality shows has become an unavoidable topic of conversation.The papers analyze the accomplished cause, on the basis of development of domestic reality shows. As the social factors, it is the request that cultural consuming request and not development simulate, as the development factors of TV itself, it is entertainment request from TV subjects, and market value is the outcome between TV subjects creation and popular culture, development request, as the audience factors it is the request of audience mental and role change.The papers point out the problem of domestic reality shows, by the contrast between domestic and western reality shows: focusing on styles, low in creation, a tide not following the situation; fixed position, and there is something wrong with the relation of reality and unreality, realism and dramatic nature, and some of the reality shows have not walked out of the pattern of documentary.The papers point out the differences between the domestic successful reality shows and western reality shows with contrast and analyses, the domestic reality shows should absorb the advantages and get tired of the disadvantages, by adopting the western subjects styles and making technique, give prominence to reality and show features of reality shows, avoid making the popular star randomly, and achieve the popular entertainment from private matters to attempt, and typical column is the effective measures to realize brand effect and market value.
