The 2D barcode which emerged with the development of information technology hasa promising future. As a kind of 2D barcode, matrix-like 2D barcode is a specialsymbology based on digital image processing and combined coding theory. Because 2Dbarcode has relatively higher density information, its recognition technology is morecomplex than that of 1D barcode. Therefore, it's of important theoretical and practicalmeaning to study the problems of embedded barcode recognition system based on imageprocessing.This paper makes use of multiple technics and methods, and has resolved many coreproblems which are encountered in QR Code Recognition. The main areas are as follows:1. Because of the uncertain light condition, the light background of QR code imagecaptured by camera will become complicated. Based on global threshold methord andaccording to QR Code features, the methord of "binarization base on result" isproposed. In addition, this paper resolves the problem of QR Code image recognitionunder different light condition.2. This paper fully utilizes QR code's function image, the omniberaing recognitionfeature of QR Code is realized. It has improved the speed and universality of therecognition method, and has improved the accuracy at the same time.3. This paper builds an embedded platform of QR code recognition and researches thehardware architecture and software modules.
