Web Services is a new-emerged concept in the area of distributed computing.It enables interoperation and dynamic integration of applications based on different operation systems and written with various programing languages.it has become the core part of next-generation e-Business and brought new opportunities to EAI (Enterprise Application Integration).With the aid of Web Services, enteprises will be able to publish their digital assets more quickly and more cheaplyWith the development of Web Services,two worlds,including industry and academic researches,concerned of two different dimensions.The industry has focused on modularization of service layer and the expressiveness and expansibility of service has been limited.So, the requestor is not computer but human.Academic research has been mostly concerned with expressiveness of service description.The research result of semantic web has been put into use in this area.So it built up the foundation for automated Web services discovery, execution and interoperation.There are two objects in the research of Web Services discovery mechanism. One is how to locate the peer which contains the description information for Web service among a large of register peer.The other is how to search the peer which fits for the requirement.The architecture of Web Services Discovery, which was improved from Chord cycle and based on ontology, has been implemented in this paper.Its feature is classifying service peers according to service ontology. So we can query the web service according to the semantic information of Web Services. The request can be processed in one ontology domain. By doing these, the nework overload can be alleviated and the query efficiency can be improved. The request can be processed in one ontology domain. By doing these, the nework overload can be alleviated and the query efficiency can be improved.QoS evaluation plays an key role in QoS-based service selection.However, Current QoS-based service selection methods haven't taken the dynamic nature of QoS into consideration and lack mechanisms to provide dynamic service performance prediction.This paper proposes a BP ANN based Web service evaluation and selection mechanism.The architecture of service selection framework and the QoS prediction model are discussed in this paper in detail.
