Design And Implement The New Order Management System Base On EAI Technology

Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), a technology to integrate various application systems within a company, and to improve the information-sharing system, is composed of business procedure integration, application integration, data integration, and platform integration. Currently, many well-developed EAI products, such as BEA Web Logic Integration, IBM WebSphere, TIBCO Active Enterprise, WebMethods, and SeeBeyond, are available from different software providers.A new Order Management (OM) system was developed in China Telecom Suzhou branch using the BEA Web Logic Integration software. The thesis described in detail how modules of the OM system was developed and applied. In this process, the author participated in requirements analysis of the system, the choice of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software, development of the Business Procedure Management (BPM) for the company's three major services (PSTN/PHS/ADSL), as well as the procedure management to control system malfunction. He also defined the BO adaptor's interface, and developed EJB for ADSL-related business, when rebuilding the business system using J2EE. Lastly, to ensure the data synchronization, he established the synchronization rules for updating the client/user/account information in the OM system, the 97 system and the billing system, and made certain arrangements to ensure the smooth transition from the old system to the new system.
