Although the He-Ne iodine stabilized laser at 633nm made by our country has reached the international advanced level, there are also some disadvantages because of technical difficulties, such as big volume and apart structure, which make it difficult to hold the laser route and not fit for carrying. A long time would be waited for the stability process, when using it to do some measurements. Based on this kind of laser, a new small kind of integrated He-Ne iodine stabilized laser made by zerodur glass ceramic is researched in this paper, which can improve the disadvantages above.Theoretical analysis of iodine saturable absorption frequency stability and the measurements of this small kind of integrated iodine stabilized laser are the main work of this paper. In order to detect the laser's performance, many experiments are carried out in Chinese Academy of Computation and Measure Sciences by the standard iodine stabilized laser. Through these experiments, some shortages could be discovered and improved. Until now, this new type of laser has been made out successfully and can be well locked at iodine absorption's apex, and its output power has puny change. The relative frequency stability has reached the level of 10-12~10-13, and the relative standard uncertainty has reached the level of 10-10, which shows that this new type of laser could be applied well.
