Basing on MoM (Method-of-Moments), this thesis analyzed, calculated and simulated the radiation field of single whip antenna in short wave on warship, and mainly analyzed the radiation characteristics of the antenna with the different warship superstructure size or antenna positions, which provided a part of data and one means to the design of the communication antenna in short wave on warship. This research is important practical significance. The body under study was the single whip antenna in short wave on warship which was simulated by the wire-grid model and calculated by MoM. This thesis analyzed the characteristics, gave out some results of the input impedance and the radiation pattern of the antenna, and indicated that the body on which the antenna was set affected the performances of the antenna. In addition, with a simple model of warship this thesis analyzed and simulated the radiation characteristics of the antenna with the different sizes of metal block board, different distances between the antenna and the metal block board, this metal block board was in front of the antenna and on a metal plate, and different longs of the single whip antenna. This thesis gave out many simulation charts in radiation direction of the antenna, which was very useful to design this kind of antenna. The results of simulation indicated that the petals of radiation pattern became more as the frequencies increased to the radiation characteristics of the single whip antenna in short wave on warship. In a certain degree, the radiation characteristics of antenna were affected by the sizes of the metal block board in front of the antenna, and affected by the sizes of the antenna themselves.
