The technique of the signal processing is playing an essential role in modern ocean exploitation. In order to improve SNR, one of the methods is signal-filter. As to the narrowband signal, the receiver filter is best to be as narrow as possible. But to the CW pulse signal with changing frequency, it is difficulte to realize tracking filter with common narrowband filter.The design and realization of narrowband tracking filter for Doppler speed log of great depth is discussed in the paper, considering the receiving signal's characteristics of low signal to noise ratio, wide frequency range and narrow bandwidth.The method of searching and tracking CW pulse signal is firstly set forth in the paper, including swept frequence method and adaptive filter. Then overall design plan and realization for the hardware system are given, and chips using in each module and their application in this system are explained in detail. At last, the software programs are designed, and make it possible to realize the function of searching and tracking CW pulse signal.
