Interferometric fiber-optic sensor is a study related to optics, opto-electronics, precision machinery and processing technology signal processing and many other areas of science Because of its high sensitivity and large dynamic range the developed countries have attached great importance to this area . It has become a hot field of optical fiber sensing research directions.Interferometric optical fiber sensor background noise is including light intensity noise, phase noise and electric noise. Generally speaking, the sensing system smallest surveying phase-shift is decided by the background noise. The study of reducing background noise plan is becoming one of interferometric optical fiber sensor key questions. This paper has a detailed analysis of the basic principles of interferometric fiber-optic sensors and fibre-optical sensor background noise, focused on the definitions, characteristics and creation mechanism of the noise. This paper introduces the test of the two kinds of noise reduction program. They are the Michelson fiber optic interferometer applicated 3×3 coupler, as well as the detection system the established on the reference interferometer and PGC demodulation. MATLAB Simulink is applicated to the completion of the above two types of interferometric fiber-optic sensors simulation, and get the results at last. From the research, we can find that both the tow sensor system above have the elimination function the noise which causes to the laser frequency vibration.
