WWW has became the biggest net with the richest information. People share the information and feel convenient, but at the same time, people are puzzled by the "information hungry" and "information rubbish" it brings. How to help users using the internet without the unhealthy information has become a pressing problem.Network information filtering is a set of process that uses certain tools to choose related information from the dynamic network which based on certain standards. It helps reduce the user's cognitive pressure and boost the efficiency of access to information, reduce unnecessary information delivery, protect users from harmful interference information.The dissertation consists of 4 parts. The first part expatiates on the basic question of the filtering of network harmful information, analyze its causes and the danger , try to give the definition of network harmful information and its classification. The second part discusses the information filtering methods, including classification, URL lists, Text content filtering technology and multimedia filtration technology. Then analyze its advantages and disadvantages.The third part introduces how to implement network harmful information filtering, and the outstanding representative of information filtering software. The four part analyzes its existing problems. In addition to technical problems, there are also related to the legal issues, standard issue. The last part present a whole solution of harmful information filtering system, especially regard to the deformation keywords filtering.
