The application of Virtual Reality (VR) Technology is increasing in recent years. With the complexity of virtual scene increased, simulation of multi-kind objects motion is becoming the key problem of most VR systems. Based on the research of existing motion route creation methods, the principle and application fields of these algorithms are under research. A new method to create route is proposed, which based on attribute of objects. Research on objects motion route simulation can provide support technology for VR engine, and also can enhance the reality of VR scene. The main research work is listed as following:1) Object motion route simulation based on physics attribute.The shape of spline curve can be changed with the modification of its extreme points and tangent vectors. Spline curve used in route simulation can get well performance for motion route simulation. The algorithm of using objects physic attribute to create the spline curves is proposed. And corresponding algorithm is developed. The route created algorithms for 2-dimension, 3-dimension and multi interpose points are also discussed.2) Collision detection for multi-kind objects spatial motion simulation.Collision detection algorithm is one of the key parts in virtual reality system. The collision algorithm proposed can be described as following. The scene model is pre-treated to create the 2-dimension elevation map. Then the collision process can be divided into two phases and the elevation date can be gained from this speed up collision detection algorithm.3) Render engine for multi-kind objects spatial motion simulation.Based on the introduction of render engine related with multi-kind objects spatial motion, the system design, distribute interface, parallel interface are specially discussed. Among these technologies, distribute interface is used to solve the problem of scene information sending and control message translation. The parallel interface is response for the computation task partition and load balance. After the analysis of related researches, a frame for multi-kind objects spatial motion simulation is proposed and some application samples are also given.
