The progress of one country's mechatronical technology indicates its mechanical industry level. With the constant development of modern manufacture technology, the society is in great need of the students with a good grasp of mechatronical technologies, which drives the teaching method of higher education to change greatly. Advanced and suitable experiment equipments for course teaching meet the need of cultivating students majoring in Mechatronical Engineering. So it is very necessary and important to research and develop an advanced teaching device, which is a good platform for students to study advanced control technology, and cultivate engineering application, integrate exercise and practical innovation ability. Two-axes and full closed loop motion control system based on PMAC is developed and finished in Mechatronical laboratory of NCUT.According to requirement of experiment teaching, this paper designs a two-axes experimental platform with a full-closed loop control based on "NC+PC" openning architecture, which consists of PMAC motion controller embedded in the standard socket of industrial process computer (IPC), AC servo motors, servodrivers and encoders, etc.The system hardware structure is designed, The control algorithm of PID is introduced, and dynamic characteristic simulink of system is stressed, The functions of motion control, real time measurement and full closed loop control are realized. The system is used in two-axes experimental platform with fast response, high precision, good static and dynamic performance.The machine manufacturing combined with the factual needs in the teaching process, Make the best of the open architecture characteristics, applied to carry out the new mode of the teaching. The system is fit for study of modern servo-control, local-control, NC interpolation and advanced manufacture. It is very helpful for upperclassmen and graduate students who conduct integrated and designed experiments on it.
