Abstract/Summary:
Streaming service is one of the next waves of Internet booming, Both private users and corporate customers are discovering that streaming media can result in a better communication and huge reductions in marketing, training and traditional communications costs. Using the revolutionary technology and services, Neo Streaming, a true large-scale p2p streaming network, both business and private sector users are provided with a go-to point and an efficient and uniquely interactive method to broadcast, share and syndicate their rich media content and make their own media stations over Internet, which will lead users to a revolutionary user-experience.Based on the criteria of high user availability, fast starup time, short delay (live broadcasting) time, and high smoothness, neo! streaming is choose to be the streaming distribution platform. Using MVC design model and web design personalization, a business operation management system is implemented for the p2p based streaming system.The background, industry development and trend of streaming system are introduced. The paper analyzes the core criteria of evaluating p2p streaming system, the basic system features as well as the system APIs. Business operation system was designed and implemented based on the system integration and user experience. MVC design model is adopted in the system design, the client side presentation was completed using web personalization mechanism. The system scalability and stability were tested using specific test cases.Utilizing hint-based data driven overlay technology, an on-line media network and its operation system are built for business and personal users to access live/on-demand videos, as well as the ability to view that will enhance audio/video broadcasts at low cost yet high quality. A highly efficient streaming network, a media syndication tool as well as a relevant service platform are deployed to both business and private sector users with an efficient and uniquely interactive method to broadcast and share their rich media content and make their own media stations over Internet, which will lead users to a revolutionary user-experience.
