Security system is indispensable for all the associations in this society. The former security system s needed a huge of human resources to work together and it depended on several special entities to discriminate I.D, like the ID cards, keys and so on. Most of these entities are not hard to fake, especially the cards. Even under some circumstances, the lost of thess entities will level up the cost of security system. In order to avoid these disadvantages, people began to use the codes. However, in this IT times, people have too much codes to remember and it is ordinary for them to forget or be confused about the codes. With the development of the society, people are looking for an automatic security system whose cost is low and who works well. To satisfy this requirement and with the development of integrate circuit technique, some new method came into real, like IC card, RFID card and so on.. Although they have their own advantages over the former ones, their applications are also limited. For example, IC card is easy to be abased and RFID card is used under a special security level. So, people began to take their eyes on the unique pattern on human body. They are biological patterns. Among all these patterns'recognition techniques, the fingerprint recognition is one of the best used techniques in the society and it has some successful examples. In this paper, the author brought the RFID technique and fingerprint recognition together. By altering the fingerprint recognition algorithm and compressing the data of fingerprint image template, the author put the template data into a RFID card.In the first section, the paper introduces the system components and all the parts of the hardware. In this section, there are six parts included, the fingerprint colleting and disposing part, RFID card reader, LCD displayer, keyboard input part, MCU and the relay part. The fingerprint colleting and disposing part includes the power device, fingerprint sensor MBF-200, DSP(Digital Signal Processing), flash and SRAM. The function of this part is to transmit the image data from MBF-200 to DSP in the way of SPI and the DSP chip will disposing the data received.;The RFID card reader functions to reader and write the Mifare S50 card and decide whether to set the alarm; The keyboard part is used to input the code and compare it with the information stored in the RFID card; The LCD part is to display the state of the system and the information of the visitor. The relay part is responsible for the opening or closing of the door.In the second section, the paper tries to introduce the details of the algorithms related. First of all, it introduces all the patterns of a fingerprint, including the integral pattern and the detail pattern; second, it brings forward the pre-deposing algorithms of fingerprint image. Its components are about the intensification, the partition, the binary, the thinning and the post-thinning disposition of the image; third, based on the analysis of former algorithms, it chooses the suitable algorithm of the pattern abstraction and classification, including detecting the singular points based on the Max- entropy algorithm, the declaring of these points and the classification of fingerprint based on integral patterns; At last, it introduces the abstraction of detail points and the discrimination of fake points. It also gives out the result and analysis of the experiment. In the end, it put forward a altered algorithm based on the recognition algorithm of structure patterns. At the same time, it calculates the data of the entire template of the fingerprint and verifies the feasibility of the system.In the last section, the paper gives out the thought of related programming of the whole system, including the operation of ZLG500CT, the control and image colleting of MBF-200, the AHDL programming of CPLD chip which is used to connect the flash ROM and SRAM of DSP. When giving the procedure of all the programming, it also introduces some important functions and gives out some detail program.In the designing process, the author consulted much advanced application technology. Using the prime design idea as reference, the author created a new idea to store the fingerprint template in the EEPROM of RFID card. In the end, the author finished the work of assembling and debugging. In the practical circumstances, the system works well and it feeds the need of the requirements.
