Research And Development Of Fingerprint Recognition Module Based On ARM

For present, all of the fingerprint recognition modules are imported from foreign countries. The most companies engaging in developing fingerprint products have no their own modules. Because of the high price, it affects the corresponding products development in our country. If we can produce our own fingerprint recognition module with our own technology, we will have a large market. So we begin our researching on fingerprint recognition module. First, it is described that the development and research state of the fingerprint recognition home and abroad. The biometric identification technology and the fingerprint recognition technology are translated in concept, and the principles and features of fingerprint recognition are given obviously. Second, the core algorithms are given. The realizing algorithms of every function in the core algorithm and the realizing program flow of every function are also given. Third, on the basis of the algorithm, it is studied in this thesis that realization of the embedded fingerprint recognition product, namely the fingerprint recognition module on the platform of ARM. Also you can find the hardware skeleton diagram and the circuit diagram, the communication protocol commands and the whole software flow charts in this thesis. At last, the two applied examples of fingerprint recognition module—fingerprint lock and fingerprint coffer are described. This thesis is a whole description of my research works. The core algorithm referred in the thesis has been accomplished and the module has been used in the fingerprint lock and fingerprint coffer. The test results good. Every key segment of the fingerprint recognition has been described detailed in this thesis. It is valuable to people who are developing the fingerprint recognition system in other fields.
