The progress of mobile communication technology and the development of mobile termination promoted the mobilization development of E-commerce. Thus, a new commercial pattern was born, named mobile E-commerce. The mobile E-commerce has absorbed all advantages of the traditional E-commerce, while eliminated the limit of time and space, enabling the commercial activity to occur at any time and any place. Along with the development of mobile E-commerce, its security problem received more and more attention, and becomes the main factor that affects its development. This article conducts a thorough research to the realization technology of the current mainstream mobile E-commerce. A solution of safe mobile payment is provided in the final part of this article.This article consists of five parts. The first part introduced the concept and characteristics of mobile E-commerce, as well as its service nowadays. In addition, the security requirement of mobile E-commerce and the current realization technology are analyzed. In the Second part, the main implementation technology of the mobile E-commerce- WAP was analyzed in great detail. Concerning WAP protocol, it introduced the technical characteristics and advantages of WAP protocol, its network model, protocol structure as well as basic functions of each protocol. The third part studied the WAP security system. Four models of WAP security system -WTLS, WIM, WPKI and the WMLScript were introduced in details. It emphasized on the analysis of the WTLS' core hand-shake procedure and core technology of WPKI. In the fourth part, it studied the current payment agreement and technology of mobile E-commerce, and carried on a comparison for them. The current mobile payment system was also analyzed. Based on the work of first four parts, the last part designed a safe mobile payment system. It satisfies the security requirement of mobile payment system, and the requirement of easy-operation. This article has carried on a detailed analysis and research to the WAP security system, and proposed a design of safe mobile payment system. The security is analyzed and the key technology was elaborated. This article also analyzed the deficiency of this design, and provided some recommendation for the future work.
