The Principles & Deployment Investigation Of WPKI & WAP Based Security Control In Micro-payment

With the development of the mobile networks and mobile users, a new e-Business is emerging after the e-Business over the Internet, i.e. mobile e-Business. The security is the major concern for the users to pay over a wireless network. This is also the major factor that holds back the development of mobile payment. According to the statistics, to date most of the e-Businesses over the Internet are in micro-payment. With the enlargement of the mobile e-Business service scope, deducting related fees from the mobile fees can not satisfy consumer' s needs any more. A specific micro-payment platform becomes a necessity to provide secure and fast payment service, and to be used in the micro-payment in various new mobile e-Business activities.This article analyzes several models of the current mobile payment, and point out the security problems in general mobile payment after studying the domestic and international mobile payment situations. Based on the security demand of micro-payment system, this article compares the current supporting technologies in the mobile security field, and select a security model of WPKI-based micro-payment mobile platform, and designs and complement the WPKI system and the design of the system functions. This article also designs and develops the WTLS certificate management portal sub-system.The main contents of this article are as follows:1. To analyze the security problems of mobile payment frequently mentioned domestically and internationally.2. To analyze the current mobile payment and solutions.3. To design a micro-payment security solution WPKI system, design and accomplish WTLS certificate management portal.
