Design And Implementation Of DVB-T Digital TV Receiving Card Driver Based On USB

Digital TV is the trend of TV development; it integrates technologies such as communication, computer, information processing and so on. Due to the complex channel and requirement for portable reception in application, digital terrestrial TV is the most complex system and the highest technical requirement. Development and research of digital terrestrial TV have been becoming a hotspot. USB bus is applied widely in various information terminals. So, the receiving device with USB interface of terrestrial TV would have broad market prospects.This paper mainly introduces the design and implementation of digital TV receiving card with USB interface based on DVB-T. Firstly, the paper summarizes the basic status of digital TV and DVB standard. Secondly, it introduce OFDM witch is core technology of DVB-T, USB standard and Windows CE. Thirdly, it analyzes the basic structure of DVB-T and the structure of USB driver under Windows CE.Based on the introduction of the theories and technologies above, this paper describes the design and implementation of the receiving card in detail. The paper introduces the hardware platform which uses USB as output interface; and then it emphasizes the programming of the driver and the implementation of receiving function. After validation, the receiving card has implemented the receiving and demodulating of DVB-T signal and can output MPEG-2 TS by USB interface.
