This paper concentrates on the research on video transmission in teleoperation system. Firstly, the time-delay is tested and analyzed, and it is forecasted using BP Nerve Network. Secondly, to the problem such as low efficiency, highly consumed that appeared during video transmission in robot teleoperation system, this research uses sequence number, slide windows, retransmission, congestion control technique and acknowledgement which are included in RUDP protocol for the video transmission in robot teleoperation system. Realization of video transmission software based on RUDP protocol of telerobotics is smoothly. The research based on experiment with RUDP, UDP and TCP in efficiency and veracity indicates that RUDP is more efficient on transmission than TCP or UDP. Finally, the whole system is described. The important results and conclusions of this dissertation are summarized, and further research on topic is proposed.
