First this paper summarized the developing configuration of deployable structure of world wide, especially various kinds of structure and the key techniques of high accurate deployable structure. Then the deployment mechanism of some deployable structure and the types of joint were presented.Deployable structures are differ from other structures. The structures deployed, locked and became stable. They have the same standard of precision, rigidity and aseismatic with common structures. But when they are in the course of developing, they are unstable. The deployable structures must satisfy the limitation of boundary, conformation of hinge, path of the movement and design of the deployable structures. The design of hinge is very important. Compared with two projects of antenna, a project used in this task was put forward.Then the design theory and method of antenna were discussed. In the design of rigid folding arm, choose of material, design of hinge, design of locking device were discussed. The sample machine of the rigid folding arm was made.After the design of the rigid folding arm is summarized, the analysis of the sample machine is made. The analysis includes static analysis ,modal analysis, stability analysis, and modal analysis is the emphasis. The effects on structure frequency brought by different parameters were analyzed and compared. A zero-gravitation off-loading system was designed.At the end of this dissertation some conclusions were reached and the problems that should be studied further were put forward.
