The process of the industrialization of The Third Generation Mobile Telecommunication System is now being on its way. The research and development of both the system and the terminal are all being done simultaneously. As the first wireless telecommunication standard proposed by our Chinese, the technology and future of TD-SCDMA have attracted even more attention in our country. Synchronization structure is a very important part in TD-SCDMA system; its performance can greatly affect the quality of Wireless communication system. After a brief introduction of a whole structure of the Synchronization in TD-SCDMA, this article focuses on the technologies used for radio interface synchronization. And combining with this paper's emphasis—radio interface synchronization technologies, the specifications in the protocol and principles of design of all the modules in the transmission part of the whole system are discussed in great detail. And that leads to both software and hardware simulation design. This design is in accordance with the standard of 3GPP Rel99. Finally, we list out the simulative results, which are followed by concise analyses about the results.
