The fast development of information technology and communication technology provides the enterprise information construction with not only a great chance but also a great challenge. Nowadays, there is too much information in the enterprise, and how to use the information effectively and realize information sharing becomes an important problem should be solved urgently. However, it has some problems like information expansion, information isolation, unstructured information and non-personalization in the process of enterprise information construction. EIP provides a useful and efficient way to solve those problems.This thesis begins with the introduction of the concept and the development of EIP, and illustrates the functions and roles of EIP; Then, based on the researches of Web Services Technology and also its advantages such as good encapsulation, loose coupling and high integration capacity, this paper proposes an architecture, namely, Web Service-based EIP. This architecture consists of the EIP platform and the external application systems. The EIP platform has many functions including multiple joint equipments support, uniform user management, SSO, application systems integration, application aggregation, content aggregation and personalization service. Then the paper focuses on the research of the key technologies for the architecture realization. These key technologies include SSO, WS Agent, Portlet, application aggregation, content aggregation, individualized service and representation management. In the end, taking the Hunan Mobile Corporation as a case, the paper proposes a solution to the EIP construction by using the Web Service-based EIP model, and gives the realization methods of the relative function modules.The research work of this thesis has some academic value on following several aspects. At first, it is a useful supplement to the existing theory of EIP, and offers a good foundation to the follow-up theory study. In additional, the case study about Hunan Mobile provides some useful experiences for the information construction of enterprises.
