Pyroelectric detector (thermoelectric detector) is one apparatus to detect infrared radiation, It makes using pyroelectric object spontaneous polarization to intensify with the temperature change . The thermoelectricity detector can work under the room temperature, it has the very wide spectrum scope and high survey rate, therefore the thermoelectricity detector is widely applied.This paper has made the two-dimensional distribution model analysis for the LiTaO3 pyroelectric detector which provides by the Shanghai technology physics, has established the thermal equation, figures out the thermoelectric current under the modulation radiation, and has made some discussions about the model improvements. This paper point is: (1) The physical model which we use is quite practical, and hangs together he condition of the join and the boundary. Because considered the influence which the boundary act on the interior, thus the responsibility theory value which we derived better tallied with the actual value, derived each formula was quite simple, which is advantageous for the use. (2) This paper analyzes the LiTaO3 instrument which provides by the Shanghai technology and physics research institute, has produced the common two-dimensional discussion method. Moreover for the design and the craft of the pyroelectric crystal, propound some referenced opinions.
