Implement Of Examination System Based On J2EE

With the development of modern communication technology and network technology, the information system base on B/S architecture embodies very large demand space in each field. The appearance of Web application technology promotes information system permeating through society to the all aspects deeply. Web examination system is a new kind of educational model with the emergence as the demand requires. It widely adopts virtual technology to innovate traditional examining instructions. And it also can let the teacher manage and supervise the whole examining process through network, meantime let the student receive teacher's coaching individually and voluntarily, in the end finish the study.J2EE is a developmental criterion of enterprise application system based on component technology, and this criterion defines a standard platform of the multi-tier enterprise information system. J2EE that defines an open multi-tier structure is greatly fitting to construct the web examining system, so the structure enables the system to have distinguished quality of flexibility, universality, compatibility, maneuverability. Because this system adopts B/S pattern, clients only need browser to realize web teaching and examine. So the operation is made easily.This thesis introduces how to make use of advanced technologies such as JSP, Servlet and JavaBean to construct web examining system in details. The system realize the function including the exam pool managing, the automatically produce in paper, the examinee's information managements, the examination time control, the announcements and the inquiry of results of examination. In the thesis, many problems such as the security of web pages transfer, the backstage database interface, the limiting of exam time, separating show layer from business logic layer through Servlet, encapsulating the show logic and business logic in pages with JavaBean, realizing the MVC model in this system and the design of database backstage are solved.
