The objects of modern industry exists extensively non-linearity, great time delays, close coupling, uncertainty and time variation, it is all along the puzzled problem in process control area. This paper explores Model-free Adaptive control (MFAC) based on the research of the development of modern control strategy. The control theory, convergence and rationality of MFAC are particular represented. For some shortage of basic MFAC the improvement is done. At the end of the article, the new control algorithm combined with cascade control system is employed into an outlet overheated temperature control system of a certain boiler unit with 600MW power. The results of simulations show that the proposed controller has merits of nicer robustness, anti-jamming capability, load adaptability and meets the designed requirements.
