This paper focuses on how to build a complete network security situation awareness system and how this system works. At first, the paper designs MLANSSAS (Multi-layer Agent Network Security Situation Assessment System) that makes use of intelligent Agent. Its function mainly includes assigning tasks of situation assessment and communicating between those different agents.And then, the paper contrives the model of networks security situation knowledge by analyzing the relationship of networks attack with networks situation. Meanwhile, the paper applies Dempster-Shafer theory to situation sense and situation comprehension.
