Network Security Risk Assessment Model Based On Dempster-Shafer Theory

With the development of network technology, the network security issues have become increasingly prominent. It is a most important step to conduct network security risk assessment. It is a hotspot to research the method of network security risk assessment. The network security risk assessment has massive uncertainty, such as randomness, imprecision, and vagueness, therefore, this article proposed network security risk assessment model based on Dempster-Shafer theory, in order to deal with the randomness and imprecision.Firstly, the network security risk factors were analyzed and the index system of network security risk assessment was built up. Then, combination of the feature of more uncertainties exist in network security risk assessment, we build up the network security risk assessment model based on Dempster-Shafer theory. Finally, the sensitivity analysis of this model improved the feasibility of the model. And the comparison with Fussy Comprehensive Evaluation method verified the advantages of the model in processing the uncertainty aspect.
