With the rapid development of IT industry and the growing demand for basic business of enterprises, at present, the software architecture is becoming more and more difficult to deal with the growing complexity of software. In recent years, however, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) of the industry was regarded as a software architecture development phase to address this challenge, and have achieved initial results. At this time, SOA Software Architecture has become a major trend in software industry. Thus, it becomes very urgent that how to migrate Legacy Systems to the SOA-based Enterprise Application System.First, this paper described the background and status of the study of the subject, points out the purpose and significance of the study. Then, in-depth study of the SOA-based software architecture and Web Service technology, this paper raised a model of software architecture to reuse legacy systems -- Extended Service-Oriented Architecture, stutdied the basic realization of the framework based on E-SOA, and focused on one of the key ways -- packaging. Finally, through the example of migration of a shopping online application system, this paper described the implementation process of the framework based on E-SOA, and realized one of the main components using the platform of Microsoft Visual Studio.NET in Windows. This is layered packaging Legacy System as Service Conponent with Web Service.
