The first step of EMC simulation is modeling. Due to the tiny structures such as the tiny bulge or groove which is used for fixing the PCB, the actual structure of the equipment is very complex. If the simulation model is modeled the same as the actual structure, it will waste a lot manpower. Meanwhile, complex model results in aberrant grid which leads to wrong simulation results. Therefore, simulation model has to be simplified or equivalent. This thesis presents three modeling methods which are based on electromagnetic thesis and can deal with the problem mentioned above. They are modeling method for typical components, modeling method for tiny structure based on electromagnetic perturbation and equivalent modeling method based on transfer impedance for seams. Through this way the modeling and simulation is much faster and the results is very good. First of all, this thesis introduces the electromagnetic radiation source and the modeling method for typical source, then the electromagnetic character for different structures is studied and modeling method is put forward. Finally, the application of the modeling method in the GF project"Software Platform of Optimal Design for Electronic Equipment Structures"is introduced.
