The electromagnetic coupling is an inevitable electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problem of large electric system. How to accurately calculate the mutual coupling between different electric equipments is an important problem. Basing on the theory of"Back-door coupling"and"Front-door coupling", the aperture coupling backed with a box and the mutual coupling between antennas have been discussed in this paper. In the research on electromagnetic penetration through slot on cavity the author focuses on the inner-outer coupling, which is different with most of the previous publication. The electromagnetic coupling induced by several familiar emission sources integrated in the cavity are presented in this section, additionally, the slot position and source position's influence on both near field and far field distribution are systematically analyzed. In order to solve the singularity induced by meshing the simulation models which have great discrepancy in dimension, the author proposes the"Multi-scale equivalent method". The numerical results show that the novel method is available not only in avoiding the singularity but also improving the computation efficiency. On the other side, further research is conducted on mutual coupling between antennas. This paper deeply studies on how to exactly compute the mutual coupling while the system is mismatching, enlightened by the microwave network theory, the author introduces the mismatching loss into the mutual coupling of antennas which is widely available. Especially, the new defined coupling is more suitable for predict the coupling between antennas under systematic EMC background. By applying the method we calculate the mutual coupling between diverse antennas, including linear antenna, microstrip antenna and airborne antenna, the results show that it is valuable to synthesize the mismatching loss into the traditional coupling.
