Adaptive Beamforming techniques are widely applied to the fields of Radar, Sonar, and Communication etc. Adaptive beamforming methods perform excellently under ideal conditions, however in the practical system, the performances of the adaptive beamforming degrade extremely due to existing errors. This paper mainly studies the robust adaptive beamforming for arrays signals in the exist of errors of direction of arrival (DOA). The second chapter of the paper simply introduces the model of adaptive arrays signal processing for linear array and classical methods for adaptive beamforming, such as Capon beamforming, MUSIC. Chapter three studies a robust adaptive beamformer for microphone array based on generalized sidelobe canceller (GSC). The main character of the method is that beamformer can allow large look-direction error, which can be defined by user. The beamformer can be implemented in small microphone array. At last, a robust adaptive beamformer using subband filters is introduced, which is for wideband microphone array beamforming.
