Along with the development and advancement of the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, the application of RFID products is more and more popular, especially the UHF RFID. Our country attaches importance to the establishment of UHF RFID protocol and the development of RFID chip. Now the application of UHF RFID products is more and more popular.This paper presents the introduction and development of the RFID technology, analyzes and compares the most popular RFID protocols, describes the principle of RFID system, simulates the system using Matlab/Simulink based on different RFID protocols, verifies the backscatter technology.This paper describes many different anti-collision algorithms of UHF RFID and researches the anti-collision algorithms used in different RFID protocol. A simulation platform is established to achieve the simulation of the anti-collision algorithms. After analysis and comparation of the simulation results, this paper presents an improvement on the DFSA anti-collision algorithm. According to the results of the improved DFSA algorithm and other algorithm, the improved DFSA algorithm can enhance the efficiency of reading tags.
