With comprehensively researching in design and development of Management Information System (MIS),application of Fingerprint Indentification Technology, many safeguards which are used for protecting database management system are compared. From this contrast, Fingerprint encrypt database modal which is based on Fingerprint Indentification Technology and applied in MIS is proposed. Furthermore, a MIS platform that includes the model is constructed.The MIS platform includes driver school sub MIS, traffic sub MIS and network communication between this two systems, this platform has big function, comprehensive content, abundant date. The fingerprint encrypt database modal which designed on this platform has universality, so it is the same with any other MIS.The fingerprint encrypt database modal uses Fingerprint Capturing Set to capture fingerprint, it can choose sensitive date to encrypt by fingerprint, and make use of Visual Basic, SQL and interface function of Fingerprint Capturing Set to register, save, compare and checkout fingerprint, also to save modification note.The MIS that includes this model can differentiate satety level, and don't affect the running speed of formerly system. The users who use this system can choose different date fields in different date tables of database to use different fingerprint cryptogram by themselves, adjust the encrypt date and the encrypt mode, also audit and track the encrypt date to prevent date from modifying, and save modification note to convenient for querying.The model proposed in this paper improves the database security of sub MIS, which is of some practicality value; the performance of experiment system is well, system function testing, date communication testing, and fingerprint testing all reach expected effect; Also in this paper it is provided that scheme to improve more sub MIS security and work to consummate system performance.
