Research Of Education Resource System Based On Distributed Peer To Peer Network

Currently, searching and management of education resource in the network are all based on B/S or C/S mode and very times can't satisfy the needs of users well. We have proposed a model of P2P-Based Education Resource System (PBERS) mode, through analyzing the basic architecture and resource sharing property of P2P network. PBERS is a distributed, virtual, dynamic and loose pure P2P network, and it is composed by education resource entity freely. In PBERS network, we have constructed its four-layer system structure. It consists of network platform basic, central layer of P2P network, education resource service layer and application program layer. By referencing the principle of P2P network, we use three-layer management structure to manage the common point, supper point and core point of PBESR network. And also we have proposed the algorithm of common point joining and supper point leaving. We use XML document to describe the information of point in PBERS network. To uniform the information contained in the server and in the point, we apply AUA(Actively Updating Algorithm) and PRA(Passively Receiving Algorithm) to insure the information is same. In addition, to locate the point in the PBERS network is very important. We adopt the location method of IP Propa-gate to locate the point in the network. It can enhance the efficiency of point location effectively and can save the system resource.
