Research On The Selection Of Software Reliability Model Based On BP Neural Network

With the widely application and increasing importance of the software, the standards of the quality become higher. The researches have already focused on the quantitative evaluation and forecast of the software reliability, which is the important criterion in checking the software qualities. A great deal of models and variations make the software engineers at a loss in recent years. These models show the complexity and uncertainty of the software reliability. How to select and utilize these models becomes a Gordian knot.Currently, the selection of reliability model is mainly based on the experiences of the individual but not on the systematic, objective and accurate method. it is difficult to solve the problem that how to determine the importance of the calculation standards in the whole calculation system. The selection method of BP neural network is put forward on the basis of neural network model, used in many fields. This method raises the accuracy of the selection of software reliability model effectively by determining the importance of evaluation standard in model selection.This article firstly introduces the origin and research meaning of the problem; and then summarizes the statue and development of the software reliability in and out of country and presents the basic concept of the software reliability and software reliability model; it finally explains the characteristics of the typical model and the evaluation standards. Secondly, on the basis of deeply explanation of the reliability and concept of neural network, this article puts forward a new selection method for choosing the BP neural network, based on the research of the reliability model and neural network. According to compare with the results calculated with other clustering methods by the MATLAB experiment, this method is verified to be correct, much easier and more convenience. This method provides a new way to solve the problem mentioned above. At last, the way of carrying out this method is advanced to be reference of the practice.
