With the extensive application of expert system in recent years, agricultural Expert System which used to support agricultural technological transformation and the development of agriculture becomes a major concern of work. China's agricultural technology is low, and the base of agriculture information technology is poor,so in the 21st century intelligent agricultural information technology to promote economic and social benefits will be significantly. The research project of the paper is on State 863 papers to the field of information technology,the key issues of computer hardware and software, technology theme, "Intelligent Information Processing System -- Chongqing Municipal Agricultural Demonstration Zone" and "agriculture research and expert system and database system for regulating" ,and the potato expert system based on wed is researched and developed in the paper.The subject introduces the advanced "browsers /Web server / database system," three-tier network architecture and discussed the design of the agricultural experts system ,which based on full investigation and compared of domestic crop production management expert system.The subject researches and develops the potato cultivation expert system,including prenatal, delivery and postnatal production management process.And completes the design of knowledge base,Inference Engine,a database,management module and background. To solve the uncertainty and complexity in the process of Knowledge maintaining, and inconsistencies in the rules against rule-based knowledge base,the subject not only discussed the knowledge of the detection algorithm,but also optimized and improved the increasing number of knowledge base for the detection algorithm .In view of practical problems in the field of agriculture,a premise of the inference rules of the various elements of the premise of "importance" or the amount of information contained in costs may be varied.And whether the existence of every son premise has the confidence.The paper based on the weighted confidence of the uncertain reasoning methods designed the inference algorithms,and given the reasoning process of conflict resolution.In this paper based on the characteristics of potato growing cycle, used modular assembly design method to design and develop of the other 13 species selection decisions modules ,to form a complete potato cultivation expert system.
