AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) incorporates several technologies: standards-based presentation using XHTML and CSS; dynamic display and interaction using the Document Object Model; data interchange and manipulation using XML and XSLT; asynchronous data retrieval using XMLHttpRequest; and JavaScript binding everything together. AJAX can be used to improve the performance of web Interface. This thesis explored some basic problems of applying AJAX to improve the interaction of web interface of network instruction application system. The main contents include:1. The actuality of web interface for network instruction application system was analyzed, which followed by the discussion of the inspiration and guidance of psychology and ergonomics to interface interaction design. Constructive strategy of applying AJAX to improve web interface of network instruction application system was put forward based on the above.2. The systematic process of designing web interface interaction of network instruction application system based on AJAX was put forward, and the design and realization of the system was developed by employment of a specific learning management system.3. The data and the feedback from users were collected by performance test and user test of learning management system, based on which to evaluate and illustrate the interface interaction of the system.Main viewpoints and work of this research include:1. From the practical perspective, current shortcoming of interface interaction of network instruction application system was analyzed, and the idea of applying AJAX to improve interface performance was put forward.2. Guiding by psychology and ergonomics theory, this thesis borrowed the viewpoints of human characteristics, emotions and feeling, distributed cognition, and human factors in ergonomics etc., and analyzed...
