The Research Of Game Nature Of Entertaining TV In The Development Of Technology

Entertainment brings us relaxation and joviality. It is a relief from compellent labor. It keep human integrated, and make his body and mind balanced. The character of television as a media corresponds to human's nature of pursuing fun. When they met with each other, entertaining TV came into being as a form of TV art.This dissertation looks into the game nature of Entertaining TV from the prospect of game theory, and argues how the game nature shows itself in the development of television technology, especially the effect that digital technology exerts on entertaining TV. It starts from the notion and meaning of GAME, studies the game theories of Immanuel Kant, Friedrich Schiller, Sigmund Freud, Johan Huizinga and George Gadamer, and investigates the relationship between art and game. Game and art are tied up together, game explains how art exists. Game nature is the cultural character of Entertaining TV. On the basis of previous research, it goes further to study the development of television technology and entertaining TV, and the relationship between them. From soiree to true-man show, it shows the expansion of game impulsion. During this progress, technology drives the development of entertaining TV as an impeller, and facilitates the presence of its game nature. On the next step, it probes into the changes which digital technology brings to entertaining TV. Digital compressing technology, dual-direction transmitting technology and virtual-reality technology will make entertaining TV more natural, interactive and immersive. Digital television will be the best platform of electronic game program. In the end, we draw a conclusion that the human's game impulsion will be best satisfied with digital technology, and people will fall into a state of inebriety living in the game with digital environment.This dissertation is built upon abundant literature, and mainly demonstrates the game nature in the development of technology and the developing tendency of entertaining TV, in the hope of contributing to the TV theory and practice.
