With the development of space technology, the technique of modern minisat and microsat becomes more and more mature, which will definitely play an important role in modern life. Satellites formation sets up a new direction of application and provides space of development for it, and is widely concerned by scholars all over the world.On the basis of the theory of mission management of satellites formation, a distributed simulation system for mission arrangement and management is designed and implemented, through which the research on satellites formation is carried out.Firstly, the theory and architecture of mission management of satellites formation is explored. The concept of satellite agent is introduced and an autonomous control system based on satellite agent for single satellite and five satellites is further discussed. The focus is on the mission management of satellites formation and intellectual horizontal classifying law and hierarchical structure. Further, intelligent fault diagnosis system based on expert system is analyzed. And in order to advance the learning skill of Satellite Agent, the apprenticeship plan and the multi-strategy learning plan are combined.Secondly, the key techniques of the software for mission management of satellites formation are stated in detail. According the characteristics of distributed Satellite Agent, a distributed simulation platform with six PCs is established. The object-oriented Satellite Agent is simulated with the software which is able to realize satellite clock designing, commands uploading, and users'interface, etc. with analyzing the rules of mission management, database for mission rules is setup and the mission decomposition scheme is proposed. With analyzing the process of self-learning rules of fault diagnosis system, a self-learning function based on the apprenticeship for Satellite Agent is implemented. The above designs are programmed with C# language and OpenGL techniques which provide the visual simulation through.Lastly, the experiment is carried out and the results verify the function of satellites'coordinative self-control, coordinative management of formation task...
