The image stabilization system based on FOG is a stability system using FOG as a sense organ. By using the FOG to measure the motion of carrier, the image stabilization system can be primarily stable with the biggish vibrations. By using the digital signal processing method which is called electronic image stabilization, the image stabilization system can be continued stable. The two methods both operate on the image stabilization system in order to carry out the system with coarse-exact coupling.The interferometric fiber optic gyroscope (IFOG) is a solid state optical gyroscope, which is based on Sagnac effect. Firstly, the principle of IFOG is introduced in this paper. The closed-loop IFOG using a digital phase ramp is analyzed in detail. Then the FOG stability servo system which is the primarily stable system in the image stabilization system is introduced. FOG stability servo system can be divided into three loops according to its structure: carrier loop, stability loop and tracking loop. The system design and simulation are carried out in the stability loop and tracking loop.The electronic image stabilization technology which is used in the continued image stabilization system is a new technology. The stabilization algorithms are main ways in the electronic image stabilization in order to estimate the motion between the continuous images. The gray projection algorithm which is a important method when the system has only translational motion is analyzed in detail in this paper and this algorithm is used in the image stabilization as continued stability. Three-point adaptive searching algorithm is adopted on the basis of single peak characteristics. The procedures are as follows: through equably selecting three points in searching coverage, judging the variation direction of the correlation curve gradient, the searching parameters will be correspondingly adjusted to obtain the motion vector between frames and then motion filtering and image compensation can be carried out. The algorithm has been demonstrated that the faults of large operation load have been overcome by simulation analyzing.
