The Face Diagnosis Of TCM Based On Image Analysis And The Application On Liverish

There are four major diagnosis methods in Traditional Chinese Medical(TCM). They are Looking-Diagnosis, Smelling-Diagnosis, Asking-Diagnosis and Pulse Diagnosis. Looking-Diagnosis is the most brilliant method. Looking-Diagnosis is that the doctor uses eyes to inspect patient and diagnosis the disease. A certificated attitude that part human disease will influence the whole human body, and inside human disease will influence outer human expression. In this way, we can use Looking-Diagnosis to know any pathological changes.The most serious limitation in Looking-Diagnosis is that there is no impersonal, quantitative and general standard to measure. In Looking-Diagnosis, inspect result and diagnosis result is different from differ doctors. This is the biggest obstacle in the development of TCM.In this paper, based on patients'samples collecting, and study in experienced TCM expert, some areas which can reflect diseases'conditions are chosen. These areas have been analyzed and processed in computer to prove that the face diagnosis can be impersonal and quantitative. First, A series of abstract methods of face base color have been compared and it is proved that the error rates among these methods are puniness. Second, the distributions of the samples in different color spaces are given to prove qualitatively that the face colors can be classified. Third, some different classifiers are designed in different color models to compared and decided which one will lead to best classified effect.Based on samples, a systemic research on Looking-Diagnosis based on face base colors have been done. Combining TCM and computer, the automatic of color-diagnosis is realized to make the foundation of TCM in impersonal, quantitative. This research is stated creative, and the first attempt in Chinese and international.
