Research And Realization Of Integrated Network Management System Of Media Distribution Network

With the rapid development and popularization of Internet, streaming media is becoming more and more popular and extensive,it must be the mainstream technology of the broadwidth network in future ,but current IP networks don't meet the bandwidth payload.This paper puts forward MDN framework ,the key point of which is to redirect the request of the user to the nearest edge media server.avoiding the congestion and crash in backbone network.This paper describes the Operation and Management Center of the whole MDN network in detail, OMC's function is to manage all devices of MDN network. These devices include MM, RRS,UM,ES,CS. According to the particular features of the streaming media distribution network, this paper devides OMC into six management domain:Configuration Management Module,Performance Management Module,Alarm Management Module,Log Management Module, Security Management Module,System Management Module,then analyse the function of every module further.Author refers to Manager/Agent model when designing the architecture of OMC, OMC communicates as a Manager system with Agent deployed in managed device frequently with SNMP protocol. Simulating J2EE,OMC is composed of two system:WEB-PS and WEB-EMS, they can run in different servers.WEB-PS is mainly encapsulation of message from WEB pages;WEB-EMS is mainly execute application logic. This paper uses Hibernate to execute database operation, it's an advanced and efficient ORM(Object Relational Mapping) tools.
