With the rapid development of network communication technology, computer technology and multimedia technology, the capacity and the scale of Video Monitor System expand unceasingly,the application domain of Monitor System is more and more extensive, Local Monitor System obtains the considerable development. Since the hardware and network environment improve and enhance continually, it becomes possible to make overall and macroscopic management to each dispersible monitor system, therefore, the research of network video monitor system is of great theoretical value and practical significance.Traditional video monitor system based on C/S structure,is difficult to adapt to the large-scale application system demand because of some disadvantages such as difficult to maintain, the expansion ability difference, the high cost of upgrading and so on. Nowadays, video monitor system based on B/S structure,is more and more application to video monitor system.The application of B/S system will be beneficial to the combination of Web technology and Monitor system, it can realize"thin client"mode and simplify client. The greatest advantage of B/S structure is to operate it in any places without installing any special software, it is very easy to expand the system, and Client needs no maintenance. It is possible to make a long-distance monitor anytime and anywhere under the situation of safe permission.This platform adapts to the current profession market demand, it adheres to the core technology as the guidance, it takes the market as the goal, and the technical strength as the safeguard, it breaks through the existing monitor system mentality, originally creates the whole management platform which is easy to use and has high systematic performance. Relative to the more common monitor software and management software on the current market,it realizes the monitor network management platform which is simple and efficient and easy to expand as well as its real-time network disposition is powerful on the basic function. Concerning to the existing dispersed and independent function and t the equipment environment which the user already has, this platform provides the effective systematic integration strategy, enormously solves the waste of resources and difficulties caused by not conforming to data standards. The network adaptability of platform shields many kinds of network environment differences, and causes to be possible to transmit many kinds of data on the platform. The platform effectively and quickly sets up dispersed monitor points into the information unimpeded monitoring network system, it fully reflects the management function of large-scale video monitor network system,and improve the practical value of clients'use.This thesis introduces the construction of large-scale network video monitor platform based on the B/S structure, and proposes a set of design proposal of monitor network management platform which fully used existing basic hardware, the project transforms slightly, investment with high percentages and high-level management, and tries to integrate effective resources and constructs a platform which not only can satisfy long-distance monitor,but also satisfy the powerful management on the basis of dispersed monitor system.This thesis firstly analyzes the research background of large-scale network video monitor platform based on B/S structure, and development status and characteristics of net work video monitor technology, briefly explains the anticipated realization goal of this platform, then introduces the relating to, or involving technology of this platform, and expounds the characteristics and technical main points, it mainly analyzes the characteristics and insufficiencies of video monitor system based on traditional B/S structure, and makes the comparison between C/S and B/S, points out the basic thought and the superiority of using B/S structure, and then makes a brief introduction of ActiveX technology. In the whole design, it detailedly expounds realization goals, management mode and operation mode of this platform. According to this, it puts forward overall Construction plan of the platform, and further analyze and research on the plan, it also detailedly divides system function module and briefly introduces every function of module. In the process of detailed design, it describes the system constitution and the software design systematically, introduces the concrete division of procedure module as well as the concrete realization steps. At last, it carries on the strict test to the system; after testing system it has reached the required function and performance, at the same time, it realizes the anticipated design goals on the aspects of function, performance and stability and so on.Through the above studies and realizations, this platform not only realizes the specific video, audio interviews of monitor system and hardware equipment control, more over systematically and overall grasps the running status of each system, practically applies the management mode into monitor, forms good interaction between supervisor and supervisee, administrator and administratee, Supervision and management will be set up through an organic combination, the subordinates will follow the example set by their superiors, and promote safety production, simultaneously management cost will be massively reduced, it will have the extremely high application value and the market demand.The digitization is one of characteristics of 21st century; an inevitable development focusing on information technology as the core of electronic technology, and front-end integration, digital Video monitor network and system integrators of video surveillance system is recognized in the future. As network bandwidth and computer processing capability and storage capacity rapidly increase, and the various video processing technologies appear, the advantage of wholly digital, Internet-based Video Monitor System is becoming obvious, and also provides for the entire network video monitoring system a broader space for development.
