The System of Scientific Instrument State Monitor Program was one of the principle parts of National Science and Technology Basic Condition Platform Program of China (No. 2004DKA10010, No. 2005DKA10103). Through construction the System of large scientific instrument Status Monitor, may monitor the large scientific instrument effectively the behavior in service, provides the technical support for the national effective management large scientific instrument, and enhances the large scientific instrument the use factor.This article researches the question deeply about how to monitor the status of large scientific instrument effectively, records the effective running machine-hour of large scientific instrument, adopts the software way to realize monitor and record the status of scientific instrument, solves the status monitor of scientific instrument based on the data stream from interface, and develops software recorder for detecting data stream based on WDM model. The recorder is a real-time recorder to record turning on and off the computer time and running time of large scientific instrument, then upload it to remote monitoring server. The structure and contents are as following:(1) The paper researches the styles of interface between large scientific instrument and the controlling computer, establishes usable model of data stream detection based on WDM technology.WDM is a kind of driver model designed by Microsoft Company for Windows. In this model, filter driver is a kind of middle driver program between others. Filter driver can monitor, intercept, amend IRP stream and provide some accessional functions with not infecting other drivers. So we can intercept date stream of serial interface and analyze command stream representing large scientific instrument state.We establish usable model of data stream detection through researching fully interface of computer and Large Scientific Instrument, directing against monitoring instrument status by detecting data stream from interface. The model consists of three parts: driver for intercepting and capturing data, data stream analyzing for parsing data and network service part for applying data. This paper designs filter driver based on serial interface. In this model, the part for acquiring data is implemented by compiling filter driver.The paper researches analysis arithmetic of data stream, and puts forward method that it is in lieu of traditional nuclear density estimate arithmetic by nuclear fitting.In data stream model, data comes from sequence consisted of many continuous and endless datum but the data from disk or memory. So we only estimate characteristic of the whole data stream using sampling. In this article, we sample data stream using random sampling technology to estimate datum distributing, and then analyze small scale sample data.We quote traditional nuclear density estimate arithmetic when we estimate network flow. In traditional nuclear density estimate arithmetic, each datum match along with a nuclear function, in this way, infinitude nuclear functions participate in calculating at the same time. At the aim computer researched in our paper, we can't allow influence operation of large scientific instrument as running of software recorder, So we put forward the latest method to estimate nuclear density which is nuclear fitting density estimate. The idea is raising efficiency by reducing precision within allowable difference. By experiment, the new method is better than the traditional.(3) The paper develops recorder to detect data stream based on serial interface, finishes monitoring instrument state by analyzing data stream from serial interface.The recorder based on serial interface consists of three parts: Firstly, weneed compile driver for intercepting and capturing data, which don't affect serial other functions. Secondly, we deal with data in application layer, setup filtrating condition, monitor serial interface to be opened, closed and other operations, at the same time, intercept data information. We can monitor indirectly large scientific instrument state according as the monitor standard of large scientific instrument state for the large instrument controlled by serial interface (for example: the X-ray instrument produced by BRUKER in Germany).The recorder based on Internet interface by Sniffer technology to intercept data stream from network card, through summarizing flux information and build model, decides instrument state by experience model. The technology can intercept and capture data stream form IP layer and above, analyze the commands by analyzing data stream, realize indirectly monitoring large instrument. This kind of recorder is suitable for network interface belong to the Large instrument controlling interface (for example: parts of scanning electron microscopes by produced JEOL Japan, transmission electron microscopes by Hitachi in Japan).The paper solves the problem of monitoring large scientific instrument state partly by studying detect technology of data stream, at the same time ,the WDM model and the arithmetic for detecting data stream can be applied to industry, irrigation works, electric power and environmental monitoring field and so on.The further study was listed as follow:(1) The priori value captured: In order to excavate unknown datum, we need a priori model which is obtained by manual work with measuring repeatedly. No matter what is flux model or command model, they should study automatic and apply it to the detecting field.(2) The special decode about data stream: We concluded from experiments, The large scientific instrument produced by different mills have different data formats, the datum will be encrypted in the process of transmitting, so it is necessary to study the special decode for analyzing command flux really.
