| The network control system is a new stage development of modern control system, nowadays it is the focus of control theory and it has important meaning to study on it. Firstly, the concept of the network control system has been introduced in this thesis and the development of the network control system and recent research progress of the control system has been reviewed briefly. Secondly the general performance characteristic of the control system and medium access control protocol have been introduced on it and then take an application of network as the example. Next, the transmission delay and packets loss has been discussed and network control system stability has been expounded.In order to resolve the disadvantage of transmission delay and packets loss in the NCS, a new control measurement has been proposed according to the previous research experience, which is the combination of time delay compensation and GPC algorithm, and setting a sinding buffer to avoid data losses. The modeling has been builded in network control toolbox TrueTime in Sweden Lund Institute of Technology and the PID algorithm and the control strategy proposed has been used for simulation on this platform. Simulation results show, the overshoot and oscillation of control system are much less when the GPC algorithm controller has been applied. And it can solve the problem of transmission delay and packets loss of network and the performance is improved obviously. Introducing delay compensation on the GPC algorithm has had less influence upon her network control system, and the dynamic performance and stability of the NCS has been very perfect. |
