The rapid development of computer technology today, with technology embedded low power, low cost, small size and other characteristics of the industry, agriculture, military, medical, aerospace and other aspects to be widely applied. Embedded technology with the continuous development and technical requirements of the embedded rising birth of the embedded operating system. Embedded operating system as the embedded software platform, shielding the bottom complicated the management contract to operate the hardware, facilitate embedded software development, embedded software for the task scheduling, resource management mechanism on the bottom and operate the hardware interface. RTOS in the embedded technology increasingly playing an important role.Embedded system because the application needs high security and reliability, and the Embedded systems are often unable to control the adverse operating environment, Embedded software is particularly increasing complexity of the case, how to guarantee the reliability of the system has become embedded system is an important topic. In response to this issue, we designed and implemented against enhance system reliability embedded real-time embedded operating system for fault tolerance. The use of fault-tolerant operation, the system can increase the fault tolerance of mistakes, and improve system reliability, safety, a very strong practical significance.The paper summed up the major work of the following:1) Fault-Tolerant Computer Research conducted a survey and comparison reference to the embedded system design task model, various fault-tolerant scheduling algorithm and the fault-tolerance strategy for a set-oriented embedded systems for fault-tolerant operation of the design ideas;2) Design fault-tolerant operation of the overall framework in which the operation of the fault-tolerant design of a good scalability, reduction of the fault-tolerant operation of all the coupling between modules, and the reusability of modules, enable fault-tolerant operation of the expansion has become more easily;3) Combine SmartOSEK operating system, SmartOSEK in achieving operating system. And analysis of various task model and the corresponding fault-tolerant strategy to achieve the basic, common fault-tolerant strategy model for different tasks common fault-tolerantstrategy can ensembles; 4) Multi-platform study of fault-tolerant distributed algorithm, proposed andimplemented a multi-platform fault-tolerant solutions, With this programcan use a single computer and communications system for a variety ofplatforms in the voting hardware redundancy.
