Study And Practice Of Video Download System Based On P2P

Nowadays, with the fast development of broadband network and also due to the appearance of various internet applications based on IP, the demand for video download Service becomes more critical, but the traditional Streaming Media services are mainly based on C/S (Client/Server) module. Since Streaming Media Service has the feature of high bandwidth occupation and long duration, the resources of servers such as bandwidth will be consumed quickly in term of rapid increase of users. This will become the bottle-neck of the system. P2P technology, as a solution of lack of center services, has already been widely used today.This paper proposes a new P2P video download model with Kademlia and also provides a theory for the design and realization of system.This paper focuses on the following aspects:1. Introduces the concept of the P2P technology and summarizes current situation from the point of information technology development.2. Analyzes the main P2P topology frameworks, points out their advantages and disadvantages, and introduces the representative product of every framework.3. Researches Kademlia protocol for P2P video download model.4. Proposes a new P2P video download model with Kademlia, and analyzes the characteristics of this model and the design of system.5. The research of realization technology of P2P video download model. Combined practical application demands, this model was designed and developed from system level.
