The continuous development of modern wireless communication requires higher performance of RF module, which leads to the miniaturization,higher working frequency and integration of RF module. As essential parts of RF module, passive components also have got great improvements. Among many new technologies for the design of passive components, LTCC technology has more advantages than the others. This thesis is mainly about the analysis and design of balun and bandpass filters based on LTCC technology. The dissertation is classified into three parts as follows. Firstly, the structures of capacitors and inductors in LTCC were introduced, also the method of equivalent circuit to get characteristics of the modules was present. As for the balun,the design process of a lumped-type balun based on the Marchand balun and equivalent circuit theory of transmission line was present. As for the filters, two bandpass filters with two transmission zeros were analysed by network analysis and mutual inductance; then a bandpass filter with three transmission zeros was analysed by the theory of the resonator with transmission zero and stepped impedance method.
