With the development of the stealth technique, reducing RCS of antennas has become an important topic. Associated with a research project, the dissertation starts mainly with the stealth of same polarization in the frequency band, and does a lot of theoretical research and simulating experiments on the stealth of the microstrip patch antenna and horn antenna,.The dissertation begins with an analysis of the relationship between the structure parameter and performance parameter of the microstrip patch antenna by the experiments. Based on the result, a new low RCS routine microstrip patch antenna is designed. Then, two methods for reducing the RCS of the microstrip patch antenna, slot and shorted-post, are given theoretical and experimental research in this paper, and attempted to be adopted together according to their different characteristics. Furthermore, fractal is used in the design of slot for the first time.With them, two microstrip patch antennas are designed , whose RCS of the same polarization are reduced in the frequency band.Finally ,by analyzing the scattering performance, some methods for reducing the RCS of the horn antenna are brought forward, such as curving the edge of the mouth of the horn and smoothing the throat of the horn. And a quadruple-ridge horn with the appropriately curved surface is designed by simulation software, whose RCS in the frequency band is greatly reduced.
