Construction Monitoring System Based On Wireless And Network Communications

According to the demand of multi-points and large-scale construction monitoring of long distance, the paper developed a new type of construction monitoring system based on wireless and network communications.The whole system is made up of one host computer and several client computers (data collection box). Each client computer automatically completes the data collection of temperature and stress information in term of fixed interval, which is set by host computer. All the data are transferred into host computer for further processing through wireless module, and the software of the host computer finishes the data conversion, storage, curve creating and report creating. Finally a Web server is constructed ,which completes the construction monitoring of long distance and long time.A temperature collection box is designed which used a MCU AT89C52 for multi-channel data acquisition and a wireless module for data transfer. The software of host computer is designed and debugged by Delphi 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2000. And network module is set up through Apache For Windows and PHP language.The monitoring system was proved to satisfy the requirement of practical application and was applied to several projects. The stress measurement and stress data collection was also discussed in this paper.
